Let’s be honest, when it comes to a wedding, no one really remembers the food served as long as there is enough.  What people do remember is the band or DJ, which makes it such an important decision.  Let me make the decision easy for you, if you want an entertaining, professional band that will keep the energy going all night, you cannot go wrong with the Cabin Guyz. 

While it was important to note that pre-wedding communications and planning was a breeze, with the band reaching out to us to understand our style, forming a schedule for the night, a play/not-play list, and what we were looking for, the Cabin Guyz really shined on the big day.  From emceeing the night, to singing the first dances, to energizing our guests and keeping them on the dance floor all night long, we could not have asked for anything different.  The range of the band is simply amazing, as we would never had imagined the Cabin Guyz could go from singing Chris Stapleton to Michael Jackson, without ever missing a beat.  The best compliment I could give the Cabin Guyz would be to include a picture from the night showing how packed the dance floor was all night long showing their understanding of our guests and what kept our crowd engaged.  When talking about the wedding night in the hours, days, and weeks after the wedding, more people commented how great the band was that night than any other aspect of the wedding.  The Cabin Guyz delivered and exceeded all our expectations!

My husband and I had the pleasure of having The Cabin Guyz perform at our wedding on June 20th of 2015. We heard them perform a great deal at one of our favorite Mt. Pleasant bars, and in August of 2014, we heard them perform at a friend's wedding. After that we knew we wanted them to perform at our own wedding!

The Cabin Guyz were simply great to work with. From the pre-wedding logistics to the actual reception, they were first class. They were incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process, and offered a variety of services including emceeing the event, ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and of course performing at the reception. They also offered to learn any music that we requested for the wedding if there were any special songs we wanted that wasn’t already in their vast repertoire.

As for the actual wedding day, the band arrived early so that everything was set up with plenty of time to spare. And that doesn't even begin to describe their musical talent. The whole band is just incredible. From musical instruments to their incredible voices, they made our wedding reception one to remember. Looking back, all everyone talks about is how much fun they had dancing and how the band never slowed down--they were what made our wedding reception special. I'd recommend them to any couple looking to get married--from Oldies to Brand New Hits--they can do it all!

What does every couple want besides everlasting love? Couples want the dance floor to be packed the entire evening! The Cabin Guyz delivered! They played a wide range of hits and got all ages out on the dance floor. Our grandparents even stayed late to watch everyone have fun. They were super easy to work with and accommodated all of our special requests (Ben Rector/Mariah Carey/Whitney Houston/Mumford & Sons). Most importantly, they felt more like friends than vendors. The Cabin Guyz were a highlight in such a special day for us. Two years later, our friends and family still reminisce about how talented they were!

Our wedding was the Cabin Guyz' first official wedding gig, and they could not have been better! They worked with us months in advance to determine the schedule for the evening and allowed us to pick specific songs we hoped they could learn before the wedding—which they did! All of them are super talented and it really let us customize our wedding reception entertainment to what we wanted it to be. They even learned a song while the rest of the guests were eating dinner and played it within an hour after they learned it! The Cabin Guyz definitely MADE our wedding reception what it was—everyone had a blast dancing and interacting with the band. The guys did a great job of entertaining the guests even when they weren’t singing and it just really made the night special. So many of our guests commented on how great the band was and how it made the night so fun and memorable! I couldn’t agree more, and I’m so glad we got to be the first wedding the Cabin Guyz played at. It was by far one of our favorite aspects of our entire wedding day—I would highly recommend them for any couple looking for live entertainment over a DJ!
